Who qualifies for CCP?
Two sides have to line up — your company, and the person you want to hire or reskill.
For companies
- Registered or incorporated in Singapore
- Offer a full-time contract of at least one year for the CCP role
- Offer remuneration in line with the market for the role
- Commit to structured on-the-job training
- Submit a business or workforce transformation plan
For your hire
- Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident, aged 21+
- Completed national service or graduated at least two years prior
- Not a shareholder, ex-employee, or related to the company's shareholders
- New role differs substantially from previous jobs
- New-hire applications submitted within 3 months of CCP commencement

Eligible roles & support duration
How long support runs depends on the role you're converting into. These are roles we commonly help biomedical employers fund.
Core scientific and production roles that keep a biomedical manufacturing line running and compliant. Typical scope includes:
- Operating and validating bioreactors, fill-finish and cleanroom equipment under GMP
- Running quality testing, batch release and deviation investigations
- Maintaining process documentation and regulatory readiness
Roles where AI, digital, technology or automation are central to the job scope qualify for the six-month tier — including digital marketing and digital sales.
General commercial and corporate functions are supported at the three-month tier.

The employer does. CCP reimburses a portion of the salary you pay the employee during their training period, lowering your cost of hiring or reskilling — it isn't a payment to the worker.
The higher 90% rate applies where the employee is aged 40 and above, or has been unemployed long-term. Otherwise it's 70%. Each rate has its own monthly cap — $7,500 and $5,000 respectively.
Support length reflects the depth of conversion. Core biomedical roles are supported for 12 months, emerging digital and technology roles for 6, and generalist roles for 3.
Both. CCP supports new hires moving into a converted role and existing staff being redeployed or reskilled into a substantially different role. We'll confirm which pathway fits in your consultation.
